A detective discovered that a bullet passed through a window at a point 4’2” from the floor. It lodged in a wall 14’8” from the hole in the window and 7’ up on the wall. At what angle from the horizontal was the bullet fired? Round to the nearest tenth

The horizontal distance x is 176 inches.
The vertical distance y is 84 - 50 = 34 inches.
