Question 93547: I need help with this problem. I tried using mid- point formula but I don't think that is right. Find the intersection of the graphs of the following equations: 4x-6y=-6 and 10x+7y=-4. Answer by checkley75(3666) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Mid point calculation rarely are the solution of intersecting lines.
4x-6y=-6 or -6y=-4x-6 or y=-4x/-6-6/-6 or y=-2x/3+1 (red line)
10x+7y=-4 or 7y=-10x-4 or y=-10x/7-4/7 (green line) (graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, of TWO functions y = -2x/3 +1 and y = -10x/7 -4/7).
