Question 934913: what is an example of a linear function whose inverse is not a function
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Take any constant function and you'll find that it doesn't have an inverse because it fails the horizontal line test. When it fails the horizontal line test, then it doesn't have an inverse function.
