let A be the first angle and B be the complementary angle.
Since the angles are complementary, you know A+%2B+B+=+90
You are told B+=+2%2AA
Substituting for B in the first equation yields
A+%2B+%282A%29+=+90
3A+=+90
A+=+30
So B = 2*30 = 60
