Question 933644: NEED SOME HELP PLEASE!!!
This has been driving me crazy. Two truckers leave the same point driving in opposite directions, the first is driving at 50mph, the second at 62mph. The first has a one hour head start. How long after the first trucker leaves will the be able to contact each other if their phones have a 260-mile range?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! we use rate*time=distance and sum the two trucks' distances
(50 * (t+1)) + (62 * t) = 260
50t +50 + 62t = 260
112t = 210
t = 2.321428571 hours
