2X+Y=12 NOW MULTIPLY THE SECOND EQUATION BY -2 & ADD THEM:
-2X-4Y=12
--------------------------------
-3Y=24
Y=24/-3
Y=-8 ANSWER.
2X-8=12
2X=12+8
X=20/2
X=10 ANSWER.
SO 2X+2Y=2*10+2*-8=20-16=4
