x%5E4-10x%5E2%2B9%3C=0, from additive inverse application. You know what the basic shape will be, so just find the roots. You should check first for factorability.

The solution, and roots, are -3, -1, 1, 3. That is "OR". You'll need to check the intervals carefully to know just how the graph goes around the -1 and the 1. Use arithmetic to check this as a help in making the graph.....
