This is easier than it looks. Let x = time of each plane.

Then the respective distances traveled are 350x and 325x.

You need to find x, where the total distance between the planes is
350x + 325x = 2025
675x = 2025
x+=+2025%2F675+=+3+hours

Isn't it great how (sometimes!) math comes out even??
