a) Find and interpret the slope of the line through the points
(0,55) and (30,73)
slope = [73-55] / [30-0] = 18/30 = 3/5
With each additional 5 years the percentage of those in that group that
never married goes up 3 percent.

Form is y=mx+b
m=3/5 and y=55 when x = 0
EQUATION: y = (3/5)x+55

In 1970 the percent was 55

Let x= 40 and solve for y or percentage:
