-3w-4w=2-9 Subtract 4w from both sides.


-7w=2-9 Combine like terms on the left side.


-7w=-7 Combine like terms on the right side.


w=%28-7%29%2F%28-7%29 Divide both sides by -7 to isolate w.


w=1 Reduce.
