You can put this solution on YOUR website! I need help to solve this problem I am having problems figuring it out
Find the x - intercepts y=x^2-2x+4
thanks a million
THAT IS WE HAVE TO FIND X WHEN Y=0
X^2-2X+4=0
DISCRIMINANT = (-2)^2-4*1*4=4-16=-12<0
HENCE X IS IMAGINARY.
HENCE THERE ARE NO REAL X INTERCEPTS
You can put this solution on YOUR website! setting y=0 & solving for x values gives you the x intercepts:
x^2-2x+4=0 (graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, y = x^2 -2x +4).
