You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(3) / (x-1) + (5x) / (3x+4)
You need a common denominator if you are going to add the fractions.
[3(3x+4) + 5x(x-1)] / [(x-1)(3x+4)]
[9x + 12 + 5x^2-5x] / [(x-1)(3x-4)]
[5x^2+4x+12] / [(x-1)(3x-4)]
--------------------
Note: Neither x-1 nor 3x-4 divides the numerator so there
is no use trying to factor the numerator.
