-9x-18-4%3C6x-2 Distribute.


-9x-22%3C6x-2 Combine like terms on the left side.


-9x%3C6x-2%2B22 Add 22 to both sides.


-9x-6x%3C-2%2B22 Subtract 6x from both sides.


-15x%3C-2%2B22 Combine like terms on the left side.


-15x%3C20 Combine like terms on the right side.


x%3E%2820%29%2F%28-15%29 Divide both sides by -15 to isolate x. note: Remember, the inequality sign flips when we divide both sides by a negative number.


x%3E-4%2F3 Reduce.
