Question 930174: I cant help my daughter with this problem. Can you please explain it so I can help her?
Herbert used 36 square-inch pieces to create 5 different rectangles, each with an area of 36 square inches. Each rectangle was a different size. What are the dimensions (lengths and Widths) of each rectangle?

Thank you so much for your help.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Herbert used 36 square-inch pieces to create 5 different rectangles, each with an area of 36 square inches.
Each rectangle was a different size.
What are the dimensions (lengths and Widths) of each rectangle?
:
Find 5 pairs of factors of 36 (multiplying the two factors equal 36)
:
width * Length
1 * 36
2 * 18
3 * 12
4 * 9
6 * 6 is a square but is also a rectangle
