Let number of quarters, be Q
Then number of nickels is: 2Q, and number of dimes is: 2Q + 3
Since there are 58 coins, we have:
Q + 2Q + 2Q + 3 = 58
5Q = 58 - 3
5Q = 55
Q, or number of quarters =  , or 
Number of nickels: 2(11), or 
Number of dimes: 2(11) + 3, or
