 time = 3 hrs ; rate = x-20 ; distance = 3(x-20) miles

 Equation:
 dist + dist = 510 miles
 3x + 3x-60 = 510
 6x = 570
 x = 95 mph
 x-20 = 75 mph (speed of the westbound train)
