Question 92690: I am really bad at solving word problems. I am not sure how to make the equation and then solve it. Please help me.
The volume of the box is represented by Find the polynomial that represents the area of the bottom of the box. Answer by Nate(3500) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! We need further information .... the sides would be seperate polynomials
(x+2) and (x+3) and (x+5) are your sides of the box ... but, which are the length and width?
Possibilities:
(x+2)(x+3)
or
(x+2)(x+5)
or
(x+5)(x+3)
... If you are centered on the volume equation, I would assume: where A is the area and h is the height
