You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x + (3/4x - 1/3x) = 68
x + (9/12x - 4/12x) = 68
x + 5/12x = 68
17/5x = 68
Multiply each side by 5
17x = 340
x = 20
She is 68-20, or 48
Check:
3/4 of 48 = 36
1/3 of 48 = 16
The difference between the two is 20
20+48 = 68
