You can put this solution on YOUR website! the slope can be expressed as a percent or an angle, since the problem does not specify, we will do percent. the horizontal distance is 15*12 = 180" and the fall is 3" (measured by the ruler), slope = (rise / run) * 100, therefore
 the slope is 3/180 * 100 = 1.666666667 percent
