odds for = p(doubles)/p(not doubles) = (1/6)/(5/6) = 1:5

odds against = p(not doubles)/p(doubles) = (5/6)/(1/6) = 5:1

Out of the 36 ways the dice can land, 6 of them are 
doubles and 30 are non-doubles.

Odds in favor: 6 to 30, or 1 to 5

Odds against: 30 to 6 or 5 to 1.
