The "second" image:

Fill the first two blank slots with csc%28x%29%2Bcot%28x%29. I would use an intermediary step for the third blank slot 8%2Acsc%28x%29%28csc%28x%29%2Bcot%28x%29%29=8%28csc%5E2%28x%29%2Bcsc%28x%29cot%28x%29%29, but your limited set of given steps and slots seems too restrictive.
