SOLUTION: Can you help me solve this log for x?
log base 2 of(x+1) - log base 2 of x= log base 2 of 5
I tried but I am not sure I got the right answer.

Question 923413: Can you help me solve this log for x?
log base 2 of(x+1) - log base 2 of x= log base 2 of 5
I tried but I am not sure I got the right answer.
I used laws of logarithms to make it:
log base 2 of (x+1)/x = log base 2 of 5
then got rid of the logs because they had the same base.
(x+1)/x = 5
x+1=5x
