Waist to hip ratio. A study by Dr. Aaron R. Folsom concluded that waist to hip ratios are a better predictor of a 5 year survival than more traditional height to weight ratios. Dr. Folsom concluded that for good health the waist size of a woman aged 50 to 69 should be less than or equal to 80% of her hip size,c w is less than or equal to 0.08h. Make a graph showing possible waist and hip sizes for good health for women in this age group for which hip size is no more than 50 inches. Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source):

:
The phrase, "w is less than or equal to 0.08h." is obviously an error, if this
were the case, 50" hips would require a 4" waist, a bit extreme don't you think?
:
Assume you mean w =< .8h
:
For graphing purposes let's write it:
y =< .8x
:
Graph x = 20 to x = 50; (less than 20 does not seem possible
x | y
-------
20 |16
30 |24
40 |32
50 |40
:
Would look like this except ignore x = 0 to x = 20
