You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The two ways are either Distributive Property, or Lattice Multiplication Arrangement.

Distributive Property works according to highlight_green%28w%28x%2By%29=wx%2Bwy%29. Use this fact if you want. If you choose it, you will need to apply the property two times. The result will be consistent with the lattice method.

LATTICE METHOD

______________n__________-7
_
__3n________3n^2_______-21n
_
__1__________n_________-7

Sum the inner cells.
