y= (x+3)/(x-2)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x-intercept(s):

the x-intercepts occur when y = 0. Plug in y = 0 and solve for x.

y=+%28x%2B3%29%2F%28x-2%29

0=+%28x%2B3%29%2F%28x-2%29

0%28x-2%29=+x%2B3

0=+x%2B3

0-3=+x

x+=+-3

The x-intercept is (-3,0)

-------------------------------------------------------

The y-intercept happens when x = 0

Plug in x = 0 and solve for y.

y=+%28x%2B3%29%2F%28x-2%29

y=+%280%2B3%29%2F%280-2%29

y=+-3%2F2

The y-intercept is (0, -3/2) which is the same as (0, -1.5) because -3/2 = -1.5
