20x-2=12x%2B30 solve for x

20x-12x=2%2B3
8x=5

then
ab=20x-2
=>ab=20%285%2F8%29-2
=>ab=5%285%2F2%29-4%2F2
=>ab=25%2F2-4%2F2+
=>ab=21%2F2
=>ab=10.5
bc=12x%2B30
