3x = -78
x = -26

let x be the first integer, then we have
x + x+1 + x+2 = -75
3x + 3 = -75
3x = -78
x = -26
our three consecutive integers are -26, -25, -24

Consecutive integers are only 1 away from each other. So, if you let the first integer be x, the second is x%2B1 and the third is x%2B2.
if their sum is -75, then we have:
x%2B%28x%2B1%29%2B%28x%2B2%29=-75
x%2Bx%2B1%2Bx%2B2=-75
3x%2B3=-75
3%28x%2B1%29=-75
x%2B1=-75%2F3
x%2B1=-25
x=-25-1
highlight%28x=-26%29
so,
first integer is highlight%28x=-26%29,
