Some values in the actual given points tell something. Notice that two of the points have y-coordinate of 3. What are those x values? What is the meaning for the middle of those x values? How does this compare to one of the given points, (1,2)?

Could you understand that the parabola for these three points has no Real Roots?

The easier way to get the equation is to use the knowledge which the leading questions are chosen. The harder way would be to actually form the three-equation system using the three points and then to solve the system.
