Question 918674: Find the values of the trigonometric functions of t from the given information.
tan t = − 3/4, cos t > 0
I understand that this is a Pythagorean/ triangle type problem, Where the denominator is the hypotenuse and the numerator is the adjacent. Therefore:

4^2 + -3^2 = -7^2
-49
√(-49) = -7 or 7
Therefore of the triangle:
A Adjacent = -3
B Opposite = -7 or 7
C hypotenuse = 4
My problem is with the constraint of cos t > 0
How would I find?
sin t =
cos t =
csc t =
sec t =
cot t =
Please explain
Thank you

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4^2 + (-3)^2 = 16 + 9 = 25 = 5^2
tan t = %28-3%2F5%29%2F%284%2F5%29
sin t = -3/5
cos t = 4/5
etc
