You can put this solution on YOUR website!
simplify %28x%5E2+-+5x+%2B4%29%2F%28x-1%29
first factor the numerator, we get
%28x-4%29%28x-1%29%2F%28x-1%29
now cancel the common factor (x-1),
answer is x - 4

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x^2-5x+4)/x-1
To simplify this we will get factors of x^2-5x+4 which are as follows-
x^2-5x+4
=(x-4)(x-1)
so it can be written as [(x-4)(x-1)]/(x-1)
answer will be (x-4)
