You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Using exactly what you show for the equation:

4x%2F3%2B3=23, GIVEN.
4x%2F3=23-3, ADD -3 to both sides.
4x%2F3=20, simple computation.
%284x%2F3%29%283%2F4%29=20%283%2F4%29, Uses multiplicative inverse.
x=15, simplification, computation.

So the question asked me to solve 4x/3+3=23.

4x%2F3+%2B+3+=+23
4x%2F3+=+20 ------- Subtracting 3 from each side
4x = 60 ------ Cross-multiplying
x+=+60%2F4, or highlight_green%2815%29
You can do the check!!
