Question 917693: The sides of two similar triangles are in a ratio of 4:6. If the perimeter of the smaller triangle is 30 centimeters, what is the perimeter of the larger triangle?
I need this ASAP please..... As well as a description of how you got the answer.. I know the answer is 45, I just don' understand how.

That ratio is the same as 2:3.

The perimeters, being simply a lengths, are ALSO in that same ratio of 2:3.

2%2F3=30%2FP
P is for perimeter of the larger triangle.
