Question 917218: According to MyMathLab, the answer to this questions is 4. For the life of me, I can't figure out how they got the solution and because it was an exam, they wouldn't show their work. Here is the question:
In triangle ABC, point O is the in-center, AD=3", AB=9", and BC=10". Find Y.
Can anyone help me with this? It will be much appreciated.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! You ask to find Y, but you don't mention how it relates to AD, AB, BC. Is there a picture for this problem? If so, then please post it. Thanks.
