Question 917165: Really confused here with this logarithmic graph
h(x) = 4 log(base 4) (x+8)
What do I have to do in order to figure out the x and y intercepts and any other information in order to graph this? could someone show what needs to be done to graph this?
Is there a vertical/horizontal asymptote in this problem? what does the the 4 on the outside of the log do? I have no clue on how to figure this out

You can put this solution on YOUR website! I.Know General Shape of parent graph: Green (vertical asymptote x = 0)
II. Find Intercepts of 0r Note: , that is: Note: & Note:
note: = 3/2 , (4^(3/2) = 8)
4(3/2) = 6
III. Plot (-9,0),(-7,0),(0,6), draw vertical asymptote x = -8 and sketch Blue
