You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Please help with this problem:
The x-coordinate of the vertex of f(x)= 6x^2-36x+59= ?
Can you please show me how you find the x-coordinate of a problem because I don't know how to solve
this problem because I don't know how to find the x-coordinate.
Thank you
f%28x%29+=+6x%5E2+-+36x+%2B+59+=+0, with:
"a" being 6
"b" being - 36, and
"c" being + 59
The x-coordinate of the vertex is at: x+=+-+b%2F2a
Therefore, we get: x+=+-+%28-+36%29%2F%282%2A6%29, or x+=+36%2F12, or highlight_green%28x+=+3%29
In an earlier post, you'd asked for the y-coordinate of the vertex, but failed to post the correct equation.
You'd need to substitute 3 for x in f%28x%29+=+6x%5E2+-+36x+%2B+59+=+0 to obtain the y-coordinate of the vertex.
