I found the expected value of this problem to be 11.68 however I do not quite understand how to get the standard deviation, can someone please help?

mean = 11.68 0r 12 (reference is 'People')
sd = sqrt(npq) = sqrt(16*.73*.27) = 1.77.. 0r sd = 2
