You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If a car is traveling at 150 mph, how long (seconds)would it take to travel 300 feet....or the distance of a football field?
----------
Convert 150 mi/hr to ft/sec
1 mile = 5280 feet
1 hour = 3600 seconds
----
You can use the practice. I don't need it.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In words:
( miles / hour ) x ( hours / min ) x ( min / sec ) = miles /sec
-----------------------
Now convert ( miles / sec ) to ( feet / sec )
-----------------------
( miles / sec ) x ( feet / mile ) = feet / sec
---------------------------------------
Finally,
( feet ) / ( feet/sec ) = seconds
-----------------------------
Filling in the numbers:
+150%2A%28+1%2F60+%29%2A%28+1%2F60+%29+=+.041667+
and
+.041667%2A%28+5280%2F1+%29+=+220.00176+
and
+300+%2F+220.00176+=+1.3636+
It would take about 1.364 sec
