You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the directions are: Write a direct variation equation that has each ordered pair as a solution. Then find the missing value.
(-5,8),(?,11).
-------------------
y = kx
Solve for k:
8 = k(-5)
k = -8/5
==============
EQUATION:
y = (-8/5)x
If y = 11 find x:
11 = (-8/5)x
x = -55/8
======================
