Take ln of both sides:

x+3 = ln(0.5)

x = ln(0.5) - 3

you got b%5Ey+=+x which
is same as y+=+ln%28b%28+x%29%29 where b=e
so, your answer shoul be
ln%280.5%29=%28x%2B3%29
