Question 913128: Part 2
I have made my homework and now I only need to review it, so please help with some of my question :>
here:
find the equation of the line L that passes through the point (-2, 4) and satisfies the given condition :
5) L is parallel to the line 5x-2y=6
6) L is perpendicullar to the line 4x + 3y = 6
7) find the equation of the line with slope -1/2 and y intercept -3

I have 10 question of them, so I will separate it into 3 post, please help me to answer this so I can compare it with my work ^^b
thank you ^^

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Questions 5 and 6 are most easily managed if you understand Standard Form well enough.

Given point, (-2,4) for number 5 and number 6;

Number 5:
Maintain 5x-2y for being parallel as specified.
5x-2y=5%28-2%29-%282%284%29%29---Just simplify this.

Number 6:
Perpendicular is wanted, so 3x-4y for the left member;
3x-4y=3%28-2%29-4%284%29----just simplify.

Number 7:
This simply requires filling in the slope-intercept form.
y=-x%2F2-3
