Question:
Graph f(x) = -3x -2
Answer;
When you are plotting this graph on a graph paper,
Give some arbitrary values for x and find out the corresponding values of f(x)
f(x) = -3x -2
When x = 0, f(x) = -3*0 -2 =-2
When x = 1, f(x) = -3*1 -2 = -3-2 = -5
When x = 2, f(x) = -3*2 -2 = -6-2 = -8
When x = 3, f(x) = -3*3 -2 = -9-2 = -11
Now plot these values on the graph paper...
The the graph will come like this...
Hope you found the explanation useful.
