Question 91275: if you are selling pizza, at a party, with 2000 families, and the pizza costs six dollars, you have no idea how many will be sold, and you have an option of selling 1/8 of a pizza for 3.40, or 1/10 of a pizza for 2.80, which should you choose to maximize your profits the most?
I came up with ten, but I am not sure, can you please help me?
this was a random question i saw in our church buliton, and i can not figure it out!!!

THERE ARE 8 (1/8) PIECES IN EACH PIZZA. @ 3.40*8=$27.20 FOR A 8 PIECE PIZZA.
THERE ARE 10(1/10 PIECES IN EACH PIZZA. @ 2.80*10=28.00 FOR A 10 PIECE PIZZA.
GO FOR THE 1/10 SLICE @ $2.80 FOR HIGHER PROFIT OR $.80 PER PIZZA.

1/10 is more
