here it is:
((x+1)/(x-1))=((-7x)/(x+3))+((8)/(x-1)(x+3))

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%28x%2B1%29%2F%28x-1%29=%28-7x%29%2F%28x%2B3%29%2B%288%29%2F%28x-1%29%28x%2B3%29
Use (x-1)*(x+3) as the commmon denominator

Since the DEN's are equal:
%28x%2B1%29%2A%28x%2B3%29+=+%28-7x%29%2A%28x-1%29+%2B+8
x%5E2+%2B+4x+%2B+3+=+-7x%5E2+%2B+7x+%2B+8
8x%5E2+-+3x+-+5+=+0
(x - 1)*(8x + 5) = 0
x = 1 --- reject, makes the DEN zero
x = -5/8
