Question 9117: I'm wondering if you could help me with this algebra problem that I need for school. It's an inequality that I just can't seem to get. The problem is:
3X-2=-5 or X-1>/=0. I would really appreciate it if you could at least try it. Answer by ichudov(507) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Try simplifying these expressions to form x >= something and x <= something.
The first simplifies to or .
Second one simplifies to x >= 1.
You have a system of inequalities
there is no x that satisfies these two requirements. There is no number that can be less than -1 and more than 1. Double check my work please.
