Question 911263: A group of balls numbered from 1 to 100 are placed in a barrel and mixed. One is drawn at random. Determine the probability that it is an even number, or a perfect square, or a number divisible by 5. Answer by Fombitz(32388) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! There are 50 even numbers from 1 to 100.
There are 20 numbers divisible by 5 (half are also even).
There are 10 perfect squares (5 are even, 2 are divisible by 5).
So add them up and don't forget to subtract the multiple counts.
