One of the angles is (9x-1)
the other is (3x+7)
(9x-1) + (3x+7) = 90
12x + 6 = 90
add -6 to each side
12x = 84
divide each side by 12
x = 7
So the angle that is (9x-1) = (9(7)-1) = 63 - 1 = 62 degrees.
Since the angles are complementary the other angle is 90 - 62 = 28 degrees.
