You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Which of the following expressions is equivalent to
(1 - tan^2x)/(tanx + 1)
---
Factor the numerator to get:
[(1-tan(x)(1+tan(x)]/[1+tan(x)]
Cancel the common factor to get:
= 1-tan(x)
