Asquare = s^2 where s is the length of the side of the original square
(s+5)(s+5) = 144cm^2
s^2 + 10x + 25 = 144
s^2 + 10x - 119 = 0 (Tossing out the negative solution for unit measure)
(x+17)(x-7) = 0
s = 7cm, the length of the side of the original square
