You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Veron and Wayne looked at their watches at the same time. Veron's watch showed 5 p.m. while Wayne's watch showed 4 p.m.
Both their watches were faulty.
If Veron's watch was 2 minutes faster every hour while Wayne's watch was 3 minutes slower every hour, what was the correct time then?
:
Every hour they are 2+3 = 5 more min apart
It would take 12 hrs for them to be 60 min apart
In 12 hrs, Wayne would be 12*3 = 36 min slow, correct time 4:36
Similarly
In 12 hrs, Veron will be 12*2 = 24 min fast, correct time 5:00 - 24 min = 4:36
