The fast skier travels at kilometers per hour. Answer by JulietG(1812) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! In 2.5 hours, they travel 62.5km
A + B =
A + B = 25
B = A+5
A + (A+5) = 25
2A + 5 = 25
2A = 20
A = 10
If A is 10, then B is 15
After one hour, A travels 10km and B travels 15km
After two hours, A travels 20km and B travels 30km
After 2.5 hours, A travels 20+5 or 25km, and B travel 30+7.5 or 37.5km
25+37.5 = 62.5km
